Funding Sources

Lava Beds Butte Valley Resource Conservation District (LBBVRCD) has been fortunate to receive support from several agencies and organizations committed to advancing conservation and community resilience. Our current and pending grant awards include:

Awarded Grants:

  • National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD):
    Funding to provide technical assistance in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), supporting landowners with conservation planning and implementation.
  • North Coast Resource Partnership (NCRP):
    Technical assistance funding for wildfire prevention, forest health, and community resilience projects across our service area.
  • Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF):
    Website development scholarship to enhance transparency, public engagement, and access to district resources.

Pending Applications:

  • USDA Rural Business Development Grant (RBDG):
    Submitted to support organizational capacity building and outreach for small rural communities.
  • Community Wildfire Prevention Planning (CWPP) Grant:
    Application submitted to support collaborative wildfire preparedness and planning in high-risk areas within the district.

These awards are vital to our mission and reflect the growing network of partners supporting local conservation in our region.
