Now Accepting Applications for Board Member – Butte Valley Area

The Lava Beds Butte Valley Resource Conservation District (LBBVRCD) is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill an open Board of Directors seat representing the Butte Valley area.

This is a volunteer position ideal for someone passionate about natural resource conservation, sustainable land management, and supporting local agricultural and rural communities.

Board members are expected to:

• Attend monthly board meetings (held locally or virtually)
• Participate in district planning and decision-making
• Support the mission of the RCD to conserve, protect, and enhance natural resources

No previous board experience is required—just a willingness to engage, learn, and contribute to local conservation efforts.
